Saturday...

What a blessing to live under the umbrella of large trees full of beautiful fall colored leaves!! (UNLESS you are the one who has to rake them?) NO WORRIES..........I love the leaves and today was a beautiful day full of them!! We spent the day sleeping in (I woke up with a bad cold) but after a hot shower was ready to enjoy the day.

There is a home in our neighborhood on a large piece of property where the owners build a new how and donated the old house to the local fire department for training. (Since you are not allowed to have two homes on one piece of property up here) Anyway.....today was the day that the fire department burned it down so we went down and watched the burn....AMAZING how fast it went down!!
We then went and picked up our almost 2 year old granddaughter Addison to spend the afternoon with us!! We took her to do errands with us (Costco) and then stopped at a small pumpkin patch on the way home where Addison helped us pick out some pumpkins for out front porch!! Our evening was filled with picking up leaves, rides in the wheel barrow and a cozy fire outside!! Thanks for the fun Addison!! We love you!!

Teepee

I dug this teepee out of the back of the garage the other day..........my mom made it for my kids when they were little...........and NOW.......my little granddaughter is playing in it!! It's amazing how fast time goes by!!

Addison is such a sweet little girl!! She is busy busy busy but she likes to cuddle too!!!

She likes to go inside the teepee and crawl out the back underneath of it....it's her escape route!!

Some friends come and go.......some you meet and become freinds over time......but then there are a rare few that you meet and you know instantly that you are kindred spirits!!

I met my friend Sharon in 2003 at a tradeshow for my business. My husband helps me at my shows as does Sharon's and little did we know that they too would have the same kindred spirits!!

We had the privilege of visiting then in thier home a couple of years ago for some good ol southern hospitality and sweet tea! Ya'll would have just loved it!!

This spring they came to visit us for some fun in the GREAT NORTHWEST!! We had a blast and the time of course went way too fast!!
